We are a grass roots community level group We are not affiliated with any Businesses, Institutions, Political or Religious groups. We are simply and solely a group of people who would like to meet people of our own age for social activities. During the course of a social meeting business will always be brought up for discussion, that's where the business side of the group comes into play. Those in business have contacts and experiences that can be passed on. Every person at our age has had numerous life and business experiences and these are relayed to other members. It's quite simply people interacting with other people. As the saying goes - " You must learn from the mistakes of others. Grey matter means far more than the colour of our hair. It means that the grey matter in our brains contains immeasurable amounts of information and life experience. We are not the typical cliche "Granny with the blue rinse and perm" set. We are young and vibrant and still have a lot of living to do. Being of similar ages we understand the ups and downs of life after fifty, both in life in general and in business contexts. Those who work understand the pressures of working with the younger generation, and those who are retired understand the pressures of how to stay busy and motivated. When you mix with similar aged and like minded people, you are instantly surrounded with a support group who are sympathetic and understanding of your needs. Each of us has our own unique perspective and each of us has something to offer.

This group addresses all these issues. Laughter is the main theme of the group. We are old enough not to take ourselves too seriously and have the ability to laugh at ourselves and life in general. A sense of humour is essential for our life's journey.
